This release represents a limited NFT collection of 200 editions, each paired with a physical real-world asset, collectively tied to the legacy of Scott Page’s historic 1929 Selmer tenor saxophone.
The original instrument served as Scott Page’s primary saxophone for over 40 years, used on studio recordings and world tours with Pink Floyd, Supertramp, Toto, and other iconic artists. It is featured on Pink Floyd’s “Dogs of War” from the *A Momentary Lapse of Reason* album and appears in the legendary *Delicate Sound of Thunder* live concert film.
In 2024, the saxophone became the first saxophone ever represented on the Moon, included in the Billion-Year Time Capsule of the LunarPrize Museum, which successfully landed on the lunar surface on February 22, 2024. This establishes permanent off-world archival provenance.
Each NFT in this collection represents fractional participation in this cultural artifact and is conceptually linked to the physical object and its lunar archival record.
The saxophone is further distinguished by an original hand-painted artwork on the bell by renowned pop artist Gabe Weiss, merging historic musical legacy with contemporary fine art.
